Garren Rood
Garren Rood is the Omen Stag and protector of the Dendrit people. One of the mighty Omen Beasts, Garren watches after his herd while defending his land from any Ode invaders.

Meeting Deora[edit]
As a young fawn, Garren would come across young Deora near a river. Attempting to fill her jar with water, she would accidentally drop in the river upon seeing the Garren, who simply grabbed the jar and gently returned it to the frightened Deora.
Becoming Tormented[edit]
After the Ode invaded Midrath, they sent out a bounty to capture the now fully-grown Omen Stag. Garren's childhood friend, now under Lord Synod's spellsong, captures him and attempts to convert Garren to the will of the Ode. As the Envoy arrives and subdues Deora, Garren fully emerges, now as a sickly, monstrous creature known as the Torment Stag. The Evoy is ultimately able to save both Deora and Garren, reverting his transformation and healing his glades.
